Upload or Go Live
When you click the camera/create icon within the YouTube header you will have the option to Upload or Go Live. If you Go Live, you will be streaming live content to the Public or whoever has subscribed to your channel. You'll have a chance to review all your settings before you go live and instead of going live immediately, you can schedule when you'd like to go live. After you have completed your live stream your video will be archived and shared based on the permissions put forth within the live video or you can change your settings afterward.

Your Content
Once you've uploaded content or completed your live session you can do several things to your video. You can edit the details; give your video a title, description, thumbnail, add it to a playlist, tag it, provide subtitles, change the visibility and more. There are also analytics about the video to see how many views it's received, the watch time, reach, engagement, and the audience. YouTube has a built in editor to trim the video, add music, blur portions of the video, or provide an end screen. Finally, the quick access tools allow the video's title and description to be edited, get a shareable link, promote the video, download the video, or delete the video forever. Visibility, restrictions, views, comments, and likes vs. dislikes are all listed on your channel's content page to be viewed quickly.
