ShowMe is an iPad whiteboard app that lets you record your screen while presenting a lesson. Available tools you can insert in your whiteboard are a textbox, a pen as your finger or a Bluetooth accessible device, and insert media (choose photo, take photo, web image, choose background, add from Dropbox or Google Drive). Whenever you change tools the video pauses until you are ready to resume your lesson. Within the ShowMe community you label your video with a topic and then you can follow different topics to find more resources. There is also CCSS-aligned content in a few areas on ShowMe.
The main difference between the free and paid versions of ShowMe is in the storage and integration. With the free version of ShowMe you are allowed five uploads and one hour of cloud storage. With the paid versions, you are allowed unlimited uploads and either 50 hours or 300 hours of storage based on your plan. With the paid versions you also have the availability to add closed captioning to your videos. Finally, with the paid versions, you can create private posts, create courses, download videos or PDFs, and integrate your videos into Google Classroom.Download the ShowMe appto try it for yourself or visit the ShowMe websiteto explore and learn more.
